  • The Cardinal Music Hall offers a welcoming, intimate atmosphere where the music takes center stage. Artists perform in a focused listening-room setting that encourages connection and presence. All shows are general admission, and there is not a bad seat in the house. The space feels like a private concert shared with a community that values great music and storytelling. The venue is located inside of the Old Damascus Presbyterian Church, so we have taken advantage of the old church pews for seating.

  • No. Cardinal Music Hall is an independent, unaffiliated music venue. We lease the listening room portion of the building from The Sanctuary, a program of Hands and Feet Ministry, who own the building and will be transitioning the remaining space into a residential program supporting mothers finishing treatment for substance misuse.

Our venue is alcohol and smoke free, though we are within walking distance of several restaurants and bars in downtown Damascus for anyone who would like to enjoy food or drinks before or after a show.

We are grateful for the opportunity to use this space, support positive work happening locally, and share live music with the community.

  • Alcohol is not served, but a selection of refreshments and light snacks is available for guests to purchase.

  • While The Cardinal Music Hall does not have a dedicated parking lot, there is ample free public parking available throughout downtown Damascus.
